As an Ambassador school, and only homeschool Ambassador school, to our local TEDxYouth Conference, we have 2 student leaders, as well as 5 student seats and a couple educator seats available for 2017.

Responses about 2017 event:

J made it to Tedx this morning and came back after lunch glowing with excitement. He said it was “pretty awesome and extremely interesting” which is high praise from him. We hope to continue to participate if more opportunities arise, and I would be glad to volunteer to help coordinate if this particular one is on next year.  Thank you for bringing this and other wonderful experiences to my children.

It was so good. We were all very impressed. They [the students] definitely want to participate more after seeing it. It was awesome.

Our 2 high school students, Tyree and Jennie, at the 2016 TEDxYouth@ColumbiaSC event. We also met up with Gwyn Ridenhour of STEAM-Powered Classroom and multi-instrumentalist and composer Ian Ridenhour.

School of the Minds has been asked to be a TEDxYouth@ColumbiaSC Ambassador for high school homeschoolers in South Carolina.

School of the Minds is currently looking for a couple of students in the Up State, Midlands and Low Country to be our TEDx Student Leaders to help us promote the event, recruit potential attendees and engage with other interested homeschool students. Student Leaders need to be passionate about ideas, learning, and change (and preferably, TED Talks!).

Please contact us if you are interested!

TEDxYouth@ColumbiaSC will take place in March 5, 2016. For more information, please visit their website.
