Olympic Games for Homeschoolers

We have been studying Ancient Greece, Greek Myths and Legends. We also visited the museum and created our own designs on pottery. Last week, the students shared their own  versions of Pandora’s Box and its contents.

To end our unit, we created our own Olympic Games. The events were: discus, javelin, relay, chariot race and a very short marathon. Nobody seemed interested in long jump.

DISCUS: we used frisbees.

Javelin: we used bamboo sticks.

Relay Race

Chariot Race: wheelbarrow.
