We will be introducing our students to the way Destination Imagination works. Our children can choose their challenge of the year and divide themselves into groups. We will NOT be going to a regional tournament this year, but familiarizing ourselves with the material. If it proves to be a program that the children enjoy and want to pursue at a regional and national level, then we will indeed take on the challenge next school year.
The program costs $95 and we will divide this cost among our students.
The Challenges for this year include: technical, scientific, structural, fine arts, improv, service learning/project outreach, and instant challenges.
We will be holding our own local Destination Imagination project fair in April 2016 for our groups to show off their work.
